Katrine Steading 1832
Jeni
Jeni has lived in the Wheatbelt towns of Northam and Toodyay for most of her life.
Buying and operating a BNB has always been a goal of hers, and to provide an environment for friends, family and visitors to relax and enjoy.
Gardening is also something that Jeni enjoys, many hours have been spent working in the original garden, and then expanding the area, which now provides a very relaxing space for people to enjoy and wander around.
Katrine Steading has provided the perfect opportunity for the “goal” to became a “reality”.
Wayne
Wayne has a keen interest in anything old (Katrine certainly qualifies) and is probably happiest when his head is under a bonnet or figuring out the best way to get something working again (although the language may not reflect it sometimes).
Coming from a farming background, down in the Warren area, he is no stranger to DIYing and “just giving it a go”.
Both Jeni and Wayne feel privileged to be the current guardians of Katrine Steading, and embrace all the challenges and rewards associated with being in this position.
They would like to welcome you to hopefully find the same pleasure in the surroundings and unique features of what they consider to be one of the nicest and most enriching properties around in the Region.
